Peanut- My eccentric half Siamese kitty.... She LOVES to play fetch, she'll bring the ball back and everything!! The picture is sort of washed out, shouldn't have used the flash!

Lillian- When I am on Arachnopets this little babe is always chilliing out on my lap..... I call her my 'love muffin'...... She was a rescue kitty, half dead from fleas when I got her at six weeks old. She is also very, very shy. Doesn't take to strangers very well at all!

Hey Bry- can your cat open the fridge by itself??? Just wondering from the picture...... If Peanut sees me put something in the fridge or the cabinet that she wants, chances are she is going to get it!! She also likes to chill out on the doors of the house, perched like some improbable bird, waiting to leap down and scare the bejesus out of you!! =D =D God love her..... She was also a rescue of sorts, her mother was a stray that had her kittens underneath the air conditioner of the deli I that I work at. A strip of liver loaf fat got her running into my arms.... I also fed mom and the other kittens scraps, but none of them would come to me. :(

Lets turn this into a Kitty Appreciation Thread!!

Here is Gustave, a rescaped stray cat. He's awesome.. very affective, he's the perfect cat.. but he does shed a lot even if we give him a special oil to help him, he still sheds wayyyy too much.

HerpInvertGirl, no, Odie can't open the fridge door by himself. He can open the kitchen cabinet doors, but not the fridge door. Maybe if I put the cat food in there, he would give it a try. Odie is just a very nosy boy, and whenever I open the freezer to get the rats out to feed the snakes, he hops in and sniffs around for a few minutes. This pic is from when he first started doing that.

Spider_Savior, I know how you feel about Lacey. A few years ago, I lost my dog after 15 years. It does take a while, but it gets easier over time. I still miss having her around when I think about her.
