Well, after getting the latest issue of reptiles mag, I saw the cover, and saw my favorite tree frog. One which I keep but Ive never thought on breeding them.

Im planning on recreating the terrarium at the end of the article, in a 20 gallon on tall tank. I plan on putting in a large piece of cork, several amazon swords, 3 inches of monitored water, and sand as an uderwater substrate. The water I want to be boggish, so I am not filtering it. Also a full spectrum light on top. As for the animals..........5-6 Green Tree Frogs

The whole project in all will cost around 100 bucks including frogs. Next year, I should hopefully see eggs, and eventually a few hundred tadpoles, which will eventually be for sale to those that will want any. Im gonna pick up the materials I need later this week from Petco, because its cheap there.

Ive always wanted to try breeding frogs, and this is my perfect chance after reading the article. I will keep you posted, and post pics of the setup when it is ready.

What I need right now, are tips on pH. I know there are a few fish people out there that know hor to get it to about 6.5. I have never tested water before, so any help is appreciated, such as

1. Doing it
2. Products I will need

Thanks

Well, the first part is done. The sand has settled and the water is crystal clear, and I have made some land for plants which should come sometime this week, along with my grape log.

Then all i will need is 7-10 Green Tree Frogs and im set.

Before adding the frogs though, I need help with the pH. Any tips????

Get a pH testing kit from the fish department at Petco. They have an additive that adjusts the acidity of the water if you need to change the pH level. It has pretty simple directions to follow.
