So last week I got quite a scare from my ball python "Stevie". I woke up to go to the bathroom and saw something in the kitchen that caught my eye. Everything from under the sink was on the stove. So, I go to figure out what is going on when I see a note. It explains that my approximately 4 ft. snake had gotten out and gone into the wall via a hole where the pipes go through.
I was pissed!! The thought of losing my snake and not being able to go back to sleep all angered me something terrible. My dad explains in the note that the snake will be trapped in the wall and couldn't go anywhere.
I knew this was BS b/c we've had rats in the walls in the past so there has to be holes in and out going to the basement. We have 3 ferrets in the basement and figuring that the snake was hungry I hurriedly grabbed some shoes and went downstairs to check on them. They were fine. As I looked around I finally found Stevie "hanging out" of the ceiling.
I put a ferret in a secure cat carrier and set it out as a lure to get the snake away from all of the pipes and wires. All of which you know it would love to wrap around. After about 30 mins. or so I was able to get Stevie back.
My girlfriend and I decided to take a walk around the block with the snake and lo and behold my girlfriend lets it become stuck in her jeans. :wall: Nobody listens to me when I tell them that Stevie will get into anything even your pants. lol!!
