A few weeks ago my friend called me and said he caught a big spider for me. So as I was trying to figure out what native species he had, he pulled up and handed me an adult T. blondi! He acquired it and is NOT a T guy, but IS a snake hunting buddy of mine, so he just gave it to me!

-the story gets better!-

For the last few days I had my suspicions about something, and last night she made THIS!

Sorry about the crappy pic...bad camera, bad camera!

I JUST WATCHED HER LAY HER EGGS!!! Well, when I walked in, the eggs were already there, but I watched her cover them with silk and eventually roll the sack! She's still rolling right now! I could even count the eggs! Aprox. 70 to 80 lumps were counted, but she had them over the entrance to the burrow, so more could have been underneath the others.
Ok experts... high humidity, low lights, access to water, do not disturb, 30 days 'till eggs with legs, my incubating chamber is already made, ummm... did I miss anything? Food? No food? Anything else?

What are you planning on doing with all the babies cuz if you decide to sell I will definately buy a few. Of course if I were you I would keep them all:D

pull the sac and incubate it after she wraps it up.

The problem with breeding this species is not getting an eggsac, its keeping the sac.

What a whirlwind day! First she makes the sack, then she starts to EAT the sack! So I pull it, separate the eggs into an incubation chamber, and within a few hours they desecrate. :( Well, easy come, easy go.
