So I remember an old thread dedicated sharing photos of giant centipedes kept by arachnoboards members so I decided to start a new thread with the same purpose. Everyone who would like to participate share your photos of centipedes 8 inches and up, I look forward to seeing everyone's posts!

I’m out too. 6inches would be a stretch for me.

I think my Scolopendra viridicornis is around 7". My Scolopendra hardwickei isn't though.

All my pics are on my thread. The next time my vid is out I'll try and measure the little rascal.

Not sure if its S. subspinipes or S. dehaani? For reference the hexagon tank panes are 7" across.

My biggest centipede is at about 6.5" BL.

I'm sure you prob already know this, but there are some mites between its segments... I've been dealing with mites on my pedes for a while so my eyes just immediately scan for mites at this point lol.

A couple over here, I think the longest one is 11'. 5 years old now.

Holy wow...

My largest is a wee little 5" polymorpha from Payson, AZ -- though I hope to get some larger ones very soon.

I'm aware of those mites. I'm not really worried, as they aren't spreading, but I do intend to try and remove some.

This lass definitely qualifies. Scolopendra sp Hispaniola. Sadly when my head had a wobble a few years ago I sold all my inverts bar 2. This lass went. Still get mad about it. She was built like a tank. Sex was unknown but I just said she).
