Terrestrial isopods of Texas?

What terrestrial isopods has everyone found in the general Central Texas area? I've found Armadillidium vulgare (of course) and a Porcellionides species. I've also had a look around on the nature observations app INaturalist, and there's a scattering of sightings of Porcellio laevis, especially in Corpus Christi. Must remember to keep an eye out for them if/when I go down there next.

If you have already checked iNaturalist, then I do not have any suggestions for you. I am surprised that iNaturalist did not list more species as I usually think of Texas as arthropod paradise.

I'm sure it did, but if I search "isopod", I get an overwhelming number of results that are mostly A. vulgare. I'm not sure how to filter it down.
Can anyone link me to a list of isopod genuses? I figure I can search each genus individually. I just don't know very many genuses to search.

I'm in south Texas but I've found A. vulgare, Porcellio sp., and Porcellionides sp. Haven't really found much else, but I also haven't been looking too hard.

You can modify the search on iNaturalist. If you set the location to Texas, search "Isopoda", and click the species tab, then you get a list of all the isopods that have been observed in Texas. I already set the search parameters for you in this link: https://www.inaturalist.org/observations?place_id=18&taxon_id=48147&view=species.

Oh, cool, I didn't know the site had that feature! I've just been using the app on my phone. Thanks!

Wow, someone found an A. maculatum! If I found one of those, I'd spend the next 3 hours upturning every rock, log, and bit of leaf litter in the area until I found enough for a breeding colony. I wonder how it got here? The only other observations for them seem to be in France. Maybe a potted plant. I suppose it could be an escape from someone's pet colony, but I'm guessing a potted plant is more likely.

Ew, and some parasitic isopods. Don't think I want a culture of tongue lice. Nasty little things.

The app has many drawbacks.
I know the A. maculatum observation you are talking about, and I think it is misidentified. If you click the words that tell you how many observations of a species are in that area, then it will list them all.

Oh, that is a misidentification. I had thought that clicking on the listing of "A. maculatum, 1 observation" would take me to that specific observation. The picture you see if you click that listing is definitely A. maculatum, the one in the observation isn't. Vulgare, maybe?
I gotta learn how to navigate the site better. I keep forgetting there is a site and not just an app.
