Tegu's and monitors???

Does anyone know a species of tegu or monitor that does not get tooo big? :?

hehe {D I'm not sure how big is "too big" for you but the ackies don't get as big as alot of 'em do.
A savannah will get 3-4 ft long, and a Nile bigger than that.(around 6 ft or more I think)

Ackies, Timors and Dumerils' all stay pretty small, around 3'. I'm not sure of the max size of the Kimberly rock monitor (V. glauerti), but they're considered a dwarf monitor species. They're also pretty pricy.

I've seen dwarf ackies that were supposed to be a maximum of 2" in length, don't know if that was just another pet store scam though.
