Ok, my kids were playing with this little guy outside. they wanted to know if I could tell them what it is (they havent outgrown that "mommy has all the answers" phase). So I was hoping I might be able to get some kinda info as to what it might be or whatever. First, these are the BEST of roughly 50 pics I took, cause its miniscule. .25" or less. So also I wondered if it might be a sling or just a teensy spider. Thanks!

I'm no expert on spiderlings, especially with true spiders, but.. that would appear at first... to be a Latrodectus spiderling of some sort... or a species of widow spider. But many spiders look similar to widows, so it's really hard to say.

Much too leggy to be a Latrodectus sling. Probably just a cellar spider sling(pholcidae) or something similar.

*Edit: Pulk beat me to saying it.

It a teensy spider, Spermophora senoculata. A Pholcid, and it is probably an adult female.
This is a good example of a diagnostic eye number and grouping.

Doesn't look like it.
Maybe Psilochorus or Physocyclus, but it is a Pholcid at least.
