I've never seen such angry display from any of my Ts (including the H livdium). This little guy was almost doubled over as it flailed in the air with it's legs and fangs. I guess this guy didn't like the menu:

Unfortunately, I don't know much about this species. Are P nigricolor known to be so defensive? Do they calm down at all as they mature?

I don't keep Pamphos, so I can't answer your question, but it looks to me like he was intimidated by the size of the superworm, and was trying to look as big as possible to scare it

Funny thing is that it is only a regular mealworm and the sling had already tagged it at least once...plus this guy regularly takes on crix that are longer than it bodywise.
