Realizing after 5 months of collecting tarantulas, I've come to the conclusion us tarantula enthusiasts live in our own worlds. Beyond these desolate mechanisms we all have lives. Most of our careers don't relate to our hobby. Our friends accept us but don't own tarantulas. Sometimes I ask myself if I'm actually weird or just different; either way, I am me and I will not conform. I have a girlfriend, but I also like girls with eight legs lol. She's held a B. Smithi, G.Rosea, and Emperor Scorps admits if she never met me, she would never of had this experience. I'm from Maryland and I've never met anyone who digs T's. But now I have you guys. I need more friends that like T's.

Me 2 bro I live and Maryland and my girlfriend went from being scared to helping me set up tanks and transport T's. I have a friend who is really into T's but doesn't own any and he kind of thrives off of my 7 ts lol. I won't conform because this is what makes me happy other people like shoes or clothes or cars. I like spiders lol. If you ever feel like you need some help or want a buddy to grab some coffee with and talk about T's or need help making an enclosure I'm here in pg county.

Im also from md aint dont no anyone else that owns them. My wife is still scared. She will come around lol

I had to laugh when you said "I like girls with eight legs". I had this T-shirt made for a friend of mine. Thought you'd appreciate it....lol
