Tarantula with red X form at abdomen ???

Hi u all, I heard about a dark coloured T, dark grey or possibly black with a pink / red X marked on its abdomen. Any of u heard of such a T ?? Any Pics ???

I have never seen anything like that, but would be curious to see such a T!

Are you sure you don't mean a black widow? Not a T but has a red hourglass on black background?!

that was the first thing that came into mind also , but the guy guaranteed it was a large spider, I believe its a T but its probably not what he described to me.

I heard of some undescribed Avicularia which quite fits this describtion ...

Avic was the first species to ring a bell, i think i ve seen one more or less like this in rick west's home page a long time ago but i am not sure.

That's what I thought last night. C.fasciatum/D.fasciatus. The "Tiger" pattern, could look similar to an X, to the laymen...especially with a bunch of hair missing.

Without pics though, it's like describing that movie...with those two guys in it...that did that stuff. You know. :D
