Tarantula webbing and rearranging substrate, what does it mean?

My female B. Albopilosum last night was spinning a web. It was the first time I noticed my T doing that. The next morning I was surprised to see that she pushed some substrate onto the wall of her enclosure, near her hide, and was basically burrowing underneath the little mound she created. The other day she also made a little burrow, and hid inside it.

Maybe I'm overthinking everything my T does, but what could this mean? do they behave like this when theyre close to molting?

It just means that your T is rearranging is environment to how it sees fit, Don't worry to much about it.

She's making her house into a home. She could be getting close to a molt. I've noticed that mine do more redecorating prior to a molt but there are some that just make themselves more comfortable without a molt on the horizon. In general redecorating is an indication that all is well with your tarantula.

One of my OBTs does this . She incorporates substrate into her whole web . All my other ones have these pristine snow white webs and hers looks like a big pile of dirt . But if that's what she likes I'm not going to argue with her .

As everyone else has said, perfectly normal and a good sign that your T is healthy. We give them the enclosures we see fit but it's their home and they will decorate to how it suits them.
