Tarantula subfamilies and the genera in them

I have a pretty good idea of where most genera belong. But I swear I remember a site where each genera was organized into their respective subfamilies.

Anyone know of any such sites?

@Venom1080 None of the links in this post so far have current information. For example, the genus Acanthopelma F. O. Pickard-Cambridge, 1897 was transferred to the subfamily Ischnocolinae Ausserer, 1871 by Jan-Peter Rudloff in 2001 who also "abolished" the subfamily Acanthopelminae Smith, 1990. Some of those links don't include many genera in the subfamily Theraphosinae. I maintain my own tarantula taxonomic database based on the World Spider Catalog and the primary literature. If you would like, I could send you a list of all tarantula species and their currently accepted subfamily placement in CSV format. Or I could send you a list of just the genera and their subfamily placement. You will also need to understand that the higher classification of the Theraphosidae (taxonomic ranks above genus) is poorly understood and every attempt to clarify this subject never included all described tarantula genera. Just a few representative species of the 13 accepted subfamilies. The point being, generic and subfamily relationships are not going to be final any time soon.

That's what I was worried about. Thanks.

Whatever's easier for you to send would work fine. Or even upload here for everyone.

I suppose uploading in this thread for everyone would be ok. :)

The species list for the family Theraphosidae has been attached as a .txt file. The list includes all currently accepted species along with their subfamily placement. For easier reading, sorting, etc. it is best to import the file into a spreadsheet program such as Excel (Windows PC) or Numbers (MacOS).

# Subfamilies: 13
# Genera: 146
# Species: 999

Yes, it absolutely did! Thankfully, the World Spider Catalog offers a complete species list for all spider families in CSV format so I had a starting point, but I had to go through tons of taxonomic papers to sort out all of the genera into their appropriate subfamilies. Not all generic descriptions plainly stated which subfamilies they belong to so I had to read, and where appropriate use Google Translate, to find the subfamily characters in the descriptions. For example, I had to look through species descriptions for the presence of the urticating hair types that all taxa in the subfamily Theraphosinae posses.
