Just an idea for a fun thread....I know that a few sites out there do a mystery spider event a few times per year where they write a riddle about it and you have to guess what species it is. If any of you are feeling creative, pick a species from your collection and create a riddle, then let's try and guess what it could be.

In the rolling shrub lands, where the heat will bare down, lurks a prize to collectors, with colors like clowns. Emeralds that eat like a fat man but dash like usain bolt, for those unexpected, will get a heart pounding jolt. Intricate strands which blanket the land, sets warning where you lay your delicate hand.

Skipping stones across the river would be quite the bother to these gentle giants found south of the boarder from the American hoarders where they call home. Unlike their cousins, they‘re not a dime a dozen, but resemble them until they get old. Their feet are both renowned and revered, even Elvis would change his tune. For those that can see color great awe is in order, and even a leprechaun would be jealous of its sheen.

@Poonjab incoming dm with my guess, don’t want to spoil it to early on if I was correct.

A. mooreae? Although the comment about the feet has me doubting it.

I'm not smart enough to play this game. Here we go anyway.
My spider family is huge. .I have family all the way from the U.S.A. to South America. I feel like a guest on the Maury Povich show. See man, I need someone to tell me who my family is.
