Vicious B smithi is right! HA HA. I love how there spider movies use smithis and such to scare people. I remember 8 Legged Freaks with the Avic. versi. or Arachnophobia with like 6 billion different species flowing from one eggsac. You have to love these people. A B. smithi being being deadly in a movie is just as scary as a horror movie with deadly balloons. Hear that Hollywood?! Deadly balloons! Watch... in 6 months... Attack of the Killer Balloons.

I have that movie as well. have you watched it? I thought it would cause an uproar on here. for those who havent seen it they will let 20 tarantulas go which are supposed to be attacking people.... but they are all attacking each other....

Cute picture though:D:D:D

I hope that wasn't a reference to Killer Klowns From Outer Space. I love that flick. Talk about a badass B movie.

The only redeeming quality of this movie was that the tarantulas do not bite, nor are they labeled as "poisonous." Unfortunately, they are saying that they're so ugly and scary that people can die. :liar:

My wife and I, who both would have been freaked out had we seen this a few years ago, were commenting how pretty the tarantulas were, or how cute one of them was, or pointing out the occasionaly hair flicking on camera.

A little more recognition for this B. smithi...

We had a pet photo contest at work, with categories of "dog," "cat," and "misc." This same smithi won first place in the "misc" category. It was a picture of her sitting on my shaved head, looking on as I read a Spiderman comic.

Just thought I'd share. :}

I first saw this film many years ago when we hired it out with my cousins to watch at their place. Really groovy movie. As much as I admired the tarantulas, I also admired the young woman's respect for them. I finally tracked down a vhs copy for myself to own.
