What makes the tarantula molt at the same time even if they have different SPECI and different AGE? I just find it weird. Well, not as weird as my situation I'm currently in like hearing stuff over microphone, being pushed to believe dey javue, being maltreated extremely by sith. :) it is not that as weird...

they probably have some influence over the timing,
they can't actively choose when premolt reaches its final stages but there likely is a time window in which popping the carapax and starting the actual molting process is best.
within that, if conditions are right, like shortly before or just close to some stormy/rainy weather that could animate them to start the process at similar times.

as @fcat said, that may very well be something they can pick up with their sensory setae, even when inside a dry burrow

@Dorifto is a big proponent of this theory and i am too

now that doesn't mean they can't molt without that kind of environmental cue, but it may cause these paralell molts

what was the weather like?

Thankfully I don't smell any storm approaching. Just so weird. I have records and note down dates when they molt and number of days after next molt.

well it could have been a coincidence, but look out for those summer storms, i allways get a bunch of them very close together then.
might be something different too, your climate probably can't be compared to ours, perhaps temperature related?

Could be, their ages differ though. We just have Summer , Rainy, And Christmas Season. :)
