tarantula "flossing"?

i was wondering if other tarantulas out there find it necessary to climb to the top of their enclosure and stick their fangs out through the screen lids. my a. geniculata sticks her one fang through (she lost the other during a bad moult several months back) the screen in several different places and my b. boehmei does the same. it kind of looks like a weird flossing technique.

Hey!

My Boehmei does exactly the same from time to time... Don't know what was wrong with him, maybe he just needed some more support to hang on the sides of his enclosure .
But I don't really care what he does, he looks healthy to me, so no need to worry. (I think)
