Okay, so when I woke up I saw she had covered the opening of her hide with her substrate, and it has some webbing around it. I can't see her without moving the substrate, and I don't want to move it. Why would she do this? Its also her feeding time but I'm worried to put in a cricket because she might be molting. What should I do? She is a P. scrofa.

Leave her be..She is most likely getting ready to molt...Many T's will do this prior to molting sometimes up to two weeks or more. Don't worry about the cricket, take it out if you can without disturbing her...Make sure your water dish is full to keep the moisture up in the cage...

Going a few weeks without eating is fine for tarantulas.
As long as it always has water available, it will be fine.

When do you guys think she will molt? This would be my first tarantula molt ever and I'm really nervous. I already put a little bottlecap of water by her, should I take it out? She didn't compleatly block herself in, more like put a little hill infront so I can still sorta see her. She did this a few weeks ago but I stupidly ruined it because I wanted to check if she is ok. I'm also slightly worried that her foot is stuck under the hide because I lefted it a little to look at her.

Edit: I feel really tempted to lift her hide up. She hasn't shown any signs of molting, she had ninja like speed yesterday.

lol you have molting jitters!!! just let it be i had a T burrow for months! She will come out when she is ready just make sure there is a water bowl in the enclosure and it will be fine if she just wants some privacy she will peak out and night and have a sip and slip back inside before you wake up nothing you can do but to enjoy the new "pet hole"

Okay two more things. I'm moving soon but its to a house like next to ours, so I was wondering if shes molting could I pick up the cage and carry her, and also, how long should I wait to feed her, and when do you think she will molt? Normaly she is in her hide but now she is nestled in the corner (I peeked with a flashlight). Also, I'm not sure if she knows where her water dish is lol I never saw her use it,

Sorry, I just bonded to her a lot in a weird way and I want it to go smoothly.

Edit: She is in the middle of her enclosure now. Tarantulas are weird.
