I think someone is tampering with my G rosea female. She is over 6" leg span and never ever moves. I came in this morning and she was across the tank from the spot where she is planted ... I am certain someone came in last night and moved her to mess with me . SO which one of y'all did it huh?

oh alright, you caught me. i did it  :liar:

well actually i didn't, but i moved my b.smithi from one end of the tank to the other (she moved back, then was in the hide the next day, now is on top of hide #2)

i heard somewhere that roseas do move every blue moon (do we have a blue moon right now)

i often refer to my tarantulas as "pet rocks that move when you're not looking."

Wait, your rosie "sits" "still"??? Because mine is in a constant state of activity, usually refurbishing her tank, but lately she's been scouring the perimeter of the land looking for spies and infidels. She may try to kill me every time I "invade" but at least she's entertaining.

my rosie that i had a few year ago, moved more than my b.smithi ever does. i even caught him scaling the lid to his cage (thank goodness i had him in a tank that was size of a 10 gallon tank, but only about 1/2 as high. had to remove him from the lid and he be making his rounds again) and all that before he ever matured.

my rosie is pretty active. doesn't use her hide much, either. And eats like a monster. So far, she's been pretty much the opposite of the average rosie.
