My armada of Tarantula pictures.
Just figured I'd make a thread showing off MY collection. Ill update as time goes by when I take more pictures!
This here is just the feetsies and leggies, but this is my Pelinobus Muticus. I believe this was my third old world that I got two months into the hobby from a local breeder here. I honestly love this guy. He was the first and only T that has given me a threat post and bit when I rehousing. Went smoothly other than that. I loved the attitude, the size, feeding response and I get to see him/her very often.
This one here is my Grammastola Pulcra. Maybe an inch? Still pretty small. Amazing eater and very skittish. Not kicking hairs but will run around and hide. May rehouse her into a nicer enclosure after another molt.
This here is my Grammastola Pulcripes. Another favorite of mine. Very destructive even at his size. Already buried multiple water cups. Will also rehouse him after another molt alongside the Pulcra.
This here is def in the top five of my favorite sling sand maybe even top 3. I haven't really given the list much though but hes def top 5. This here is my Phormictopus Sp. Dominican Purple. He's probably inch and a half and full of spunk. No threat posing or hair kicking but just... doesn't care. He's already escaped once because he decided during a watering that he wanted to go outside. He was very calm and went out slowly but ended up bolting really quick as I tried to nudge him/her back. WILL be rehousing this one after the next molt for a larger enclosure. I used too much substrate and ended up allowing her to climb out from her burrow. Love this genus.
This here is my Ceratogyrus Darlingi, another of my larger T's. I really think I was given Juvi's instead of slings, which im fine with. Paid sling prices! Cant access their molts due to the fact he decided that the molts belong in his burrow so dont know the gender. Hoping female. I catch this guy out and about quite often so I'm very happy. Another of my favorites of my collection. I started with old worlds within a month or two and this was one of the ones that came with the P. Muticus. Love my Tarantulas! I hope to get a picture soon of my H. Gigas who is another one of my favorites!
I'll update with new pictures when I take them. I just came home and decided to look at my T's to see who was out today. For some reason, the Fossorials are much more likely to be my favorite T's because I get to see them often due to my work schedule and how my apartment is set up. Its usually very dark in the tarantula corner and I am up at 4 a.m, so I get to see my tarantulas ALOT.
I will send pictures tomorrow of my new slings coming in from another breeder. I got nine more T's incoming so prepare!
