I just got home and notice my tailless whip has lost a leg. Its my first. I just wanted an idea what could have happened to it. If I'm stressing it out to fix the problem

I don't know much about whip scorpions but would that be the long thin leg it uses like an antenna? (can only see one in the pic) Apparently they do lose them and quite easily... they are very fragile. But it doesn't affect them so much, they can cope with the missing leg. I'm not sure if it grows back with the next molt though.

Sorry for the one picture. I didn't want to scare it with the flash. Yes it's that leg and I hope I didn't do anything to stress it. As long it can survive without it then it should be fine

They'll drop them due to stress or injury. The loss of just one may affect its hunting efficiency but it'll still manage alright. Is this a wild-caught specimen? How long have you had it? Have you been handling it? Leaving uneaten food running free in its enclosure? These guys (especially recently wild-caught ones) can be awfully sensitive to loud sounds and movement in their environment, and dropped whips are not uncommon under these circumstances.
