I recently found a Tailess Whip Scorpion at a local pet store (in Newfoundland, no less).

This is my second - no species was listed but it seems to be a Damon and wild caught. Any ideas? I could get a better picture if needed.

You're the best Wizentrop - thanks. It's wild how the husbandry differs between Medius and Diadema differ, so I thought I'd ask to make sure.

Definitely D. medius. I'm honored enough to have 2 of these incredible creatures. Just make sure your substrate is saturated and soupy, and minimal ventilation, that will keep the humidity levels in the green for these guys. Medius need high humidity levels, whereas Diadema can thrive in dryer habitats. Congrats on the find btw.

Thanks @Toadfang ! The Pet Store in particular had her in a bone dry enclosure - I knew I needed to swipe her up.

Did you choose Medius or did they fall into your lap?

Fell in my lap. I didn't even know about Medius until I researched this forum and analyzed pictures. Then I uncovered the commonality of shops and even importers selling Medius under the Diadema name. It seems Diadema are much harder to come by, whereas Medius are a dime-a-dozen. Problem being they require very different husbandry. I love all Ambly's though. I'm just happy to say I own some. They're so cool!
