Hey so most of you are probably sick of me by this point but I’m concerned. So my T albo molted about a month ago and he still won’t eat and threat poses the food I offer him. I usually offer him 1” superworms and he is about 3” himself. Another thing is I rehoused him very recently so could that be the reason?

He/she's fine. Leave it alone and keep offering weekly or so. Try smaller prey.

I've got a Brachy auratum sling that molted almost 2 weeks ago, it's still locked in it's burrow, abdomen looks good, so I just drop a pre killed item in once a week and wait a day. All you can do really, just offer and wait.

3" Ts can go w/out food for 2 months or more for many species after molt. If you researched the forum you would have found thousands of posts EXACTLY like yours. Your level of interest in Ts may save its life someday.

Thank you for the useful fact! Was looking for that information on google but couldn’t really find anything, just your classic answers of how long tarantulas can go without food in general but nothing specific so thank you again!

When you use google, use google to only search WITHIN AB. You get faster answers than posting.

Time to eat is dependent on 2 things... fangs turn black first, and size of abdomen post-molt.

His fangs are completely black and his abdomen is pretty skinny but I don’t think it’s unhealthily so and alright, I will try searching within AB first next time
