I have a Vicks warm mist humidifier in my T room, and although it works at keeping the room humidity rather high, it's not excatly what im looking for and has a rather short life. My question is to those of you that have a room sized collection that needs to be around the 75-80% humidity range, what works for you? Im looking for something a little more durable and has a really good out put of humidity. The one I have I have to crank up full blast to achieve the desired range, which im looking for one that can do this on a lower setting, and can go a little beyond what I need. Any tips, help, or comments are appreciated.Thanks.

which ones have you used? I kinda like the first one but not sure. I use a warm mist because I dont need to heat the room, it just heats as it humidifys. Dont keep my T's too close so they wont get burnt. Anybody prefer cool over warm mist?

I actually haven't used any of those. But like you I'm looking to get a new one. In the past I have used the old, old ones that have a large wheel in them and just rotate thru the water at the bottom, kinda like an old sawmill paddle wheel. Instead of the paddles they have a cloth like belt around the wheel and a fan that evaporates the water as it turns.:)
