Im somewhat of a new Spider enthusiast and ive come into a bit of a delima i had just recent acquired a T Blondi Female pretty much full grown. i got her home set her up in her tank etc and after a week or so i go to do her feeding like normal and notice an eggsac , from what i hear this is RARE to have a pregnant T blondi let alone to get one from a store already pregnant , as for my delima i have no idea on how to care for my spiderlings or what do do with them in the eggsac please give me advice! Thanks in advance

Let her keep the sac and WAIT! Make sure that she is not disturbed and don't feed her. In about 1.5-2.5 months you should be able to take the sac and hammock it. That is if she doesn't eat it first!

For now let her take care of it, as time goes by you can gather info on how to better deal with the eggsack and coming spiderlings.

Like JBoyer said, the most important thing is to not disturb her. The more she is disturbed, the better the chance of her eating the eggsack. I have even heard of people putting them in a dark closet, since the light may bother them also.

Not really....T. blondi only lays somewhere between 25 and 75 eggs but the slings are .5" when they emerge. Thats why T. blondi slings are so expensive compared to other large Ts like L. parahybana.

Oh you are SO lucky! Take a deep breath, be patient, and I'll send you my shipping address. Then, when they are born, package up a few and...=D

..........

I have gotten first instar Blondi's that were 1"! They are large as babies, much larger than L.parahybana. Maybe other Theraphosa are almost as big when slings. I am not as familiar with them. Sam Marshall claims they are the largest sling at hatching.
