No, she molted 7 months later if you were going to ask!
Did the male live long enough to mate again after she molted?David Richards said:No, she molted 7 months later if you were going to ask!
Mine just molted, supposed apophysis...I guess I'll check for spurs when he hooks out. He is BIGDavid Richards said:He got with 3 females over a 4 month plus marathon with over 30 interactions between them in all. Yes he is still alive but burned out and has made no webs despite being in with 2 females many times since the molts. Any tricks(drop in temps ect....) to stimulate him to start up again besides putting him in with them? He just puts them in a trance and then gets outta there! Hoping for a fresh male because they are big mamas and are only a few months past molt. dave
I remember Martin Huber saying that he keeps males enclosures dry for a couple of days and then makes it moist again. This triggered the males to make sperm webs. I remember reading this in a thread where he was talking about taking pics of males making sperm webs and loading palpal bulbs.David Richards said:He got with 3 females over a 4 month plus marathon with over 30 interactions between them in all.
