Suprise Babies!

I went to check on my spiders and things this morning, and to my suprise, several tiny pinktoe s'lings were in the web thingy that once only held my female pinktoe and her eggsac. I'm a grandma . There wasn't as many as I had expected....some of the eggs on the inside of the sac were bad. I do have a manageable number of 25 healthy A. avic spiderlings. Not a bunch, but they're in good shape, and I love them, hehe. Here's what I found this morning:

The mom's doing fine, though she's a little upset at me wrecking her web to get the babies out. She needs a big meal and she'll be happy for a little while, maybe.

yes the name for these are pinkbodies or blacktoes.....they are cute. to the grandma: Congrats on your new babies. 25 is really a good number to handle. Have a nice day
