The superworm under the substrate, in the bottom of my TS enclosure, which I have been eyeing for weeks now, has turned into a beetle.

But it felt like it was stuck in the pocket of space it made when it was still a worm and couldn't ascend to the surface. It's a 5-inch thick substrate. What should I do?? Is it capable of going up to the substrate or should I dig it up? But it will disturb my Tarantula.

I generally dig them up any pics ? If it’s stuck it can’t bother the t but it might still dig itself out possibly.

Long tongs n pull out the worm you don't have to dig it up. I would definitely pull it though don't leave it even if it doesn't bother your t once it dies it will cause mould you won't want in there .
