Staying up late and started nerding it up. I have a predatory sps of Hypoaspis mite in my cages, that's why I don't have a grain mite problem with my roach colonies. I've watched them stab those annoying mites and walk off with them. I know they are a Hypoaspis pred species because I sent them to somebody on the AB that works in a lab that focuses on studying inverts. I decided to sacrifice a termite and drop it in with a strong colony of these Hypoaspis mites. One mite, by itself, drug that termite around, slow but it did it. There is a pred mite there in the shadows in the pic, it drug that termite under that leaf. I didn't know they were that strong. I could prob make some vid but it'd be pretty rough. I'm using a mag glass with my camera there. If I just had a better camera
