super mealworm

Few months ago i tried to give mealworms to my emp but the mealworms were always hidding in the substrate before my emp could catch them. So i want to know your techniques.

1) feed the scorps by hand
2) injure the worm in a way that it can not burrow, but still moves around enough to get the scorp's attention

Thanx guys,
i'll go with the nbr. 2 from nocturnalpulsem cause there's no way i'll try to feed my black fat tail by hand (he's a psycho, he's extremely fast and he always try to sting anything that moves) Also i dont want to crush their heads cause they would died and my scorp wouldn't want to eat them. Finally i tried one time the dish but they managed to escape and with the size of my scorps (around 2'') i cant use a higher dish.

Anyway I appreciate your answers.

Xavier,

"By hand" doesn't necessarily mean with your hands. You can use long forceps or the likes to provide the food without risking your safety.
