super/meal worms?

Everytime I got to petsmart/petco, all of their super and meal worms are dead.... And I wanted to get a couple.. But there ALL dead... I asked a guy who worked there, and he look like he didnt know what was going on.. So I baught a 12 can of worms.. And they were all dead! Why is this?

Because they are Petco/Petsmart. I would dare to say it is because they don't give them any moist foods so they all die of thurst.
