I went to the petstore this morning and to my horror saw that they had just gotten in two Sulcata torts. The owner was telling a woman that they could live in a 20g tank in her sons room just fine. She doesnt know anything about them, or how big they get. Normally I would just leave it alone, because I know if she doesnt make money off them, then she wont get them again. But I just feelt that this is a little different. I dont have the space for them, but if anyone is interested I will gladly drive the torts anywhere in 300 miles from here, maybe more, we can work something out. Here is the information on the petstore, if anyone is interested in the torts. I can also get pics of them for anyone interested.

Doesnt surprise me since many petshops sell Pangasius sp. (common name paroon shark or similar) which are a very unsuitable fish to keep aswell as redtailed catfish. And lots of other not so good pets to keep.

Tomorrow I will post pictures and prices. Right now the torts arent much more than 6" long. The lady isnt even giving them calcium, so please people ask around to see if anyone is interested.

thats not good.

theres alot more to it than just having a 20g aquarium for starters.

I'm doing everything I know to do, and I'm still not getting it.
my fiance supprised me with a sulcata for christmas. in january I noticed her shell was alittle soft.

I have a heat light, a uva, uvb light and calcium suplement, and still haven't noticed very much of an improvement.
