Suicidal crickets

i just bought crickets from the pets inc down here, got them home, put them in their critter keeper. i was going to feed them about 25 mins after i put them in there, and i saw about half of them dead on the bottom, and the other half up on the top of the roof clinging there.. Never seen this before... any ideas?:?

There adult crickets and the cage is about 6 inches tall, so i dont think thats the problem...i dont know what it is..

I'd go ahead and feed off the dead one's while they're still fresh.
Unless you think the crics. are sick?

Im not gonna feed em, they must have something, because i called pets inc after i saw them dying, and he said the adult crics were just shipped over there today, and said for me to call back tomorrow at about 10:00 am and see if half of theirs were dead when they cleaned out the bucket.

Damn that sucks, well if half there crickets arnt dead maybe the cricks got hot on the car ride, man i bought some cickets the other day from some pet store over here, and by the time i got home almost all where dead from sitting in the car, but the thing is with me in my dads truck dont have no air so i dunno

If the pet stores shipment came in today, they must have overheated. It was 106 today. Only 111 yesterday. No rain for over 100 days and counting. Perfect cricket weather. LOL

We had air conditioning on the car ride home, so i dont know if they were already screwed up when i got em..Seemed fine when i looked at them in the bucket they had em in
