All I know is they are nocturnal and need a large cage if you are planning on getting one. They need lots of space, the bigger the better. I googled a Sugar Glider Forum, which I think this is the best the best one on the internet. It can be located here. You should check it out and sign up. I bet you'll learn alot about them there, and maybe even find a breeder to get you're very first Sugar Glider from. :)

It's been several years since I've kept any, but a few tips..

- Unless you have a lot of time to devote to them, make sure to get more than one, as they are social creatures

- Pay close attention to their dietary needs (calcium, fruits and veggies, etc.)

- It is best to get them when they are young, as they are easier to tame and become "attached" to you

- Make sure you have the room for a very large cage and funds for fresh food, toys, etc. They do require a bit of a financial investment.

- Check around for an exotics vet in your area with experience caring for them

- Make sure that they are legal in your state :)
