I was considering a purchase of 2 Sugar Gliders from a friend of mine named Mandy. She doesn't have the time to care for them properly with her work schedule so I looked into taking them. After considering my financial situation and my other pets, I decided they would be better off with someone who knows more about them so I'm posting here.
I know there are many members here with lots of pets and I'm hoping to find someone that lives in or near central Kansas who would like to have a pair of Sugar Gliders. She is selling them with 2 cages, all toys, and all accessories. She cares for them very much so I offered to help find them a home since there were limited calls to her ad. I suspect there are not many people here that want them or even know what they are. Mandy and I would like the interested person(s) to have some knowledge and (preferably) some experience in keeping Sugar Gliders.
Just so I've been clear on the subject; Although she is "selling" them, this is not to make money. Our main objective is to make sure they get the best care and not get sold off to just anyone (part of the reason why they did not sell here). They will not be shipped or seperated so don't ask. I would love to take them myself but that would mean taking away time from my birds and other pets and they would not get enough attention either.
