Sudan Plated Lizards(Help/Advice Needed)

Can anybody tell me more about these fascinating guys and maybe some great places to buy them from? I've been searching online for them and almost everywhere except for two places is out of stock. The problem with these places is that don't say if they're selling adults or juveniles(which is what I want). They're burrowing lizards but I also can't quite figure out what substrate I'd be be better off getting for them. Please help me out!

EDIT: Just so you know this isn't something I decided to get spur of the moment while knowing nothing about them. I did my research before deciding to get this lizard and now I just have a few unanswered questions is all.
