Successful Avic Mating!

This is my first successful T mating (not breeding seeing as I don't have an eggsac yet). I am so excited!

I put my Avicularia avicularia together and, after a 10-15 minute courtship, they hooked up for approximately 12 minutes! I couldn't quite count all the insertions made, but there were insertions with both palpi multiple times (I counted at least 5 times each).

I'm glad someone had success with the "easy" species. lol. I cant get mine to touch each other. Hope you get lots of babies, I just love the little avics.

Haha! I tried once before already but the female didn't respond to the male's drumming. I was worried I did something wrong. Fortunately the second time they did their thing. I'd love to take credit for their success, but really I just watched.

Yeah... it's funny 'cause it's true.
But somehow I don't think they mind.
