Substrate, Terrariums, and Static cling

Most of the time when I put my substrate into the terrariums, the static makes it sticks to sides. Does anyone know how to prevent this? Thanks.

Moisten it first or mist the sides of the tank. Misting the tank howeer, will cause the substrate to stick to it as well.

Mist the walls heavily with distilled water after you put the substrate in.It'll wash down the clinging substrate and distilled water won't leave water spots...peace..

Distilled water? I will give it a try. Next week I will be moving some spiders to new homes so I will try it out. Thanks.
