Substrate Stuck to Vinegaroon ?

So there's coco fiber stuck to my Vinegaroon's whip tail. It seems to be weighing it down. It's bent.

Has anyone else has this happen? I hope it doesn't break ...

Yes it has happened to mine a few times on different areas. I just brush it off with a paintbrush when I see it come up.
