Hey everyone, just orders some white spotted assassin bugs from j.huff. He will deliver them in 6 days.
So I was wonder what substrate you use and if you should keep the nymphs together or keep them separately until adulthood. And if you have any other tips I am happy to here them.

Well, mine is not exactly the same one as what you’ve ordered, but basic is pretty much same.

You can go ‘no’ substrates when they are still small, and not yet matured.

When they are matured and ready to breed, by then you would need some substrates for them to lay eggs.

I have Platymeris biguttatus and Platymeris sp. Mombo. I keep them on a mix of coconut fiber and sand, with plenty of cork bark slabs and rounds to climb on and hide in. I keep them all communally. As long as they are well fed, cannibalism shouldn't be a problem.
