You cannot determine the age of any tarantula by their size. Unless you have documented or recorded data since they were hatched, you have no way of knowing. The growth or growth rate of any tarantula is highly variable with a lot of factors. So using size to determine age is most likely not useful in your case.

yep, the only thing you could conjecture about is how old it must be at a minimum to reach that size

even then there are large variances since there can be very fast growing individuals that totally subvert expectations for a species

it is however possible to say that your spider must be a few years old at least




sexing can be done via an exuviae once it molts in your care

Can anyone give me a guess as to how old my new T is? It’s about 4-5in (legs included) the place I got her from had no clue how old or sex.
size tells you zip about age could be 5 could be 25
