Got some dolomedes vittatus back in August I think 8 males and one female.
7 of the males, I thought were all 1 molt away from maturity, but they all molted and maybe only 1 is a molt away from maturity now.
Most are about 2.5" in leg span. I keep dolomedes scriptus as well and they mature much faster both the males and the females.
D. Vittatus reminds me of my dark fishing spiders they mature at a slower rate even though D. vittatus are closer related D. scriptus in needing to be close to water source.
I had 28 slings of Vittatus and down to 16 the weaker ones died good news though the remaining have all molted few times growing good and eating like little pigs
Here's a pic of a sub adult male he's plump from eating cricket.
Update one of the males finally matured molted this morning sometime. Here he is.
