@wizentrop @Albireo Wulfbooper do u guys wash your styrofoam before you use it in your ambly enclosures, if so, how?

On a side note, some of the sawdust that came in the box with the styrofoam was giving me an itch, would that raise any concerns on using it in an enclosure?

Yes, i'd wash it and the saw dust won't harm it.
The piece s you get when you break styrofoam will not harm it aswell but can give it nightmares when it's Stuck to it's feets.

To remove the dust, water will do it.
To break the surface structure and get a deep wash done, you can use soap and give it a good amount of water afterwards.

I usually use just lots of water and a scrub brush. You can use some soaps as well, but you want to make sure it’s a type that leaves no residue. Ideally, an unscented dish soap. If you do use soap of any kind you’ll need to flush it REALLY thoroughly. Amblypygi are very sensitive and won’t want to climb in something that has a scent or residue.
