Most of us know to take out prey if it hasn't been eaten in 24 hrs.. I was just checking on my T's while feeding some of them and was ecstatic to see that my Phormictopus sp. "purple" looked to be molting for the 2nd time in my care. I opened the lid to find a cricket in with it. The T isn't moving and it looks like it's missing a fang. I removed the cricket immediately, but I'm afraid it's too late.
I always check my T's after I've fed them to make sure they ate. This one looked fatter than before I fed it so I left it alone. My mistake. This sucks!! I'm going to leave the T alone for awhile and hope that it starts to move.
I hope that someone else will learn from my stupid mistake and not have this happen to them.
