Strange Posture

I got up in the middle of the night and notice that my T was in a strange posture, she was not in a threatening pose, kicking hairs, etc. Imagine a relaxed pose, but raised off the floor, like she was trying to stand up higher.
I assume it is some sort of defensive "look larger" pose, but it was pitch black with no noise, explanation?
