Ok, I bought another one... I saw her(him?) in a pet store, in very unsuitable conditions, and due to a very reasonable price and a weakness for new Ts, I folded. But all that was listed was "Stout Legged", thats it. I asked if there was an off chance that they had a Genus-species name. Nah. So I am very curious to know what "followed me home" She(he) has very thick rear appendeges. Any sugg.?

hi

I'm glad to help you with this. It is either Eucratoscelus pachypus
or Eucratoscelus longiceps if it has a red rump its longiceps any ways they're great African species. They are burrowers and they like it dry I'm guessing. They're so cool with their bell bottom pants. any ways how much was it if you dont mind me asking.

Only about $25, and is a good 3". Very docile as of yet, but the rump is not really red...

hey

That's a good price. It is said that that is the best African species to begin with. They are semi-gressive and cool. any ways hope you enjoy it and give it enough substrate to burrow.
