I've just found a big green stinky bug that appears to be a beetle. I typed stink bug in wikipedia ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stink_bug ), but that's completely different than this beetle. The bug I found just now is smooth dark green on it's back and has shiny red and green on it's belly. It's big, about 2 inches from back leg to opposite front. No pix right now as I'm about to go to bed. It stinks up the whole room and very much irritated me when I tried to lay outstretched on my bed and found this intruder stinking up my hand. I have no idea how it even got in my house. One question is....What makes a bug stink like this and could it have bitten me in bed?
