So I found this walking stick on our surgery table today :D (I work at a pet hospital) No idea how it go there at all, our vet wanted to bag it and I ended it up bringing it home. I wanted to either keep it or set it free but I have an itty bitty problem... I don't know what it eats so I wouldn't know what to feed it or where to leave it so that it can find food on it's own.

Help?

try blackberry or perhaps rose leaves.

Btw, where in CA are you. I'm in CA too and might be interested in taking it off your hands(and I do grow blackberry)

SF Bay Area :)

black berry! I think there's some of that around the hospital :) I have some rose bushes on my front yard, but I think they're soaked in pesticide :/ Would washing them down really good work?

Depends on the pesticide. I wouldn't risk it. Blackberry should be abundant where you live though!

Hello,
Can you perhaps post a pic of the stick or describe it so we get an idea of what you got????

some sticks are not picky about the food plant but other required a specific food plant to survive.

good luck
