I seem to be moving from spiders to reptiles. A whole new phase in my exotic animal life, I suppose. While I do have two absolutely stunning leopard geckos (a "regular" one and a Mack Snow), I'll only show off the snakes for now. :)

Thanks guys. :)

And I can see how Okeetees would be underrated. I wasn't too interested in them until I found this one on CL a little over 2 months ago. The people had her since she was a hatchling and got tired of her soon after, but kept her for a while anyway. Snake, 20 gal long enclosure, 2 heat lamps, hide, and water dish for a grand total of $60. They just wanted her gone. Um, yes please!! She was in pretty bad shape though. I don't use either lamp since my house is fairly warm, had to change the filthy sub, snappy from no handling, and she was skinny as heck. They "instructed" me to feed her 1 fuzzy per week as they had. :( But now after 2 months of good meals and an almost perfect shed, she quite literally shines like a brand new penny! And tame to the point of going limp in my hands when picked up. Like she's saying, "oh...you're warm and safe."

I've gotten some mixed opinions on little Naga (who is closer to 4 months old, I found out). Some say ewwww on the bug eyes and that she's from bad breeding stock. Others say they're cute and Leucistic rats get those eyes a lot. Nothing wrong with them. Well, I love it too! Makes her look so....inquisitive.

To tell you the truth, I am not a fan of the "bug eyes" either. Read in a few places that it sometimes causes vision problems with the snake. It is not linked to the Leucistic gene and can be easily bred out but breeders don't care much as long as the snakes sell.

But I am sure they will make great pets anyway.
