I am housing a juvenile G.Pulchra in a tarantulacribs 8x5 medium enclosure..I have a mold problem. There is cross ventilation and I keep the substrate dry but around the water dish and in her burrow there are these white, almost look like little beads of mold. Is that enclosure too small for springtails?

Not mold, but mushroom mycelium, more than likely a species of Leucocoprinus, (flowerpot mushrooms), spores come in with unsterilized coco fiber, peat moss, potting soil, etc., it's inedible so springtails and even isopods won't touch it or control it. The only good way of eradicating it is to heat treat the substrate and thoroughly wash out the enclosure, otherwise over time it will turn the substrate into a solid mat of mycelium, which will stress out a burrowing tarantula.

Ohhhh nooooo
The substrate is terra aranea (sp?) for tarantulas..guess I’ll have to buy new substrate!

If you just moisten and then microwave this stuff for a couple mins until it's steaming, it'll be perfectly reusable.
